The Thin Line Between Love and Hate?

According to the Washington Post, Nevada Senator John Ensign admitted yesterday to having an affiar. "I violated the vows of my marriage," he said. The senator did not name names, saying only that "the woman who I was involved with and her husband were close friends of mine." His wife Darlene apparently commented that the couple's "marriage has become stronger." (As it does, after an affair with a close friend...)

The same article went on to say that, "Ensign has been a leading conservative among Senate Republicans, playing a key role in demanding the resignation of Larry Craig in September 2007. Ensign called Craig a 'disgrace' after he was arrested in June 2007 in an airport men's restroom on disorderly conduct charges."

I guess that's a lesson to us all: a swinging bathroom stall door is the thin line between "stronger love" and "disgrace"....
