Christopher Lee: a superfluous third knighthood today?

According to the BBC, 87 year-old veteran screen actor Christoper Lee received a knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honors list. As the BBC notes, he is probably best known today for his recent roles in Harry Potter films and in the Star Wars prequels as Count Dooku.

But I think of him foremost or his roles (especially as Dracula) in numerous "Hammer Horror" films of the 1960s and 1970s, as well as for his portrayal of the assassin Scaramanga in the James Bond film, "The Man With the Golden Gun."
