Scott McCloud on Understanding Comics

The YouTube video embeedded below is a little long, at 17 minutes. But well worth it. For anyone who doesn't know, Scott McCloud is, among other things, the author of the award winning book Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art (which you can buy on Amazon by clicking on the title in red). First published 15 years ago, it is a fantastic examination of the comic art form. If you've never read it, I assure you that it is considerably more compelling and much less facile than you imagine.
