Jiffy Lube Gift Card

While I was standing in the check out line at the grocery store, I noticed a rack of gift cards for sale, along with the usual candy and tabloid magazines. Some of them were pretty predictable. There was one for Amazon.com, and Starbucks, another one for the restaurant chain "Chile's," for example.

But then I noticed one for "Jiffy Lube." Jiffy Lube!?! Who gets someone a gift card for an oil change? Well, according to the "Jiffy Lube" website, they're "a great choice" for "Birthdays, Anniversaries and Holidays."

Anniversaries? I don't know who wrote that, but I am sure they've never been married....
